Palace of the Conventual Chaplains |
Built in an early Renaissance style, probably by La Sengle, this was the residence of the Conventual Chaplains of the eight Languages of the Order who officiated at St Lawrence Church. One of the Palace’s most striking features is the row of tall rectangular windows with architraves – which rear their proud aristocratic form in the high piano nobile. Unfortunately over the years this building has lost its left flank. |
