Situated in an alley in St George’s Street, this impressive life-size statue sculpted in franca stone is closed off by an iron gate. It was placed there on the 5^th November 1993 and blessed by the late archpriest of Cospicua, Fr Victor Cilia, on the same day. Candles and flowers adorn this niche all year round.
