Situated between houses no. 135 and 136 in St Paul’s Street there is this stone statue of the Immaculate Conception in a niche engraved in great detail. The niche includes two stone pillars known as mazzettuni and ruzuni although it is now in need of restoration. Bishop Gaetano Pace Forno (1857-1874) granted an indulgence to those who recited a prayer in front of this niche.
